August's Tampa concert lineup will feature a wide variety of musical acts at area venues large and small.

Ruth Eckerd Hall will conjure up the best of the New Wave bands with the '80s Regeneration Tour, set for Saturday, Aug. 30, 8 p.m. Among the acts scheduled to perform are ABC with Martin Fry, The Romantics, Missing Persons, A Flock of Seagulls and Naked Eyes.

Largo Cultural Center will feature a series of tribute bands in August, including acts that pay homage to Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The Thrash and Burn Tour will visit State Theater on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 4 p.m. Featured headbangers include Darkest Hour, Misery Signals, Parkway Drive and Stick To Your Guns.
