Looking for an event to celebrate Oktoberfest in Tampa Bay? Here are five events for Oktoberfest 2012.
Oktoberfest Tampa will be held at the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in downtown Tampa on Friday, October, 12, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, October, 13, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, October, 14 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests of the event will “be celebrating with German cheer, dancing and singing to cooler weather and colder beer along the Hillsborough river.”
“The Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Oldsmar Cares to add an extra night of fun the annual Oktoberfest celebration, called Rocktoberfest. On Thursday, October 18th, from 5.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. instead of polka bands, local rock band Cross Eyed Larry will be entertaining. Enjoy German beer, wine, food vendors and midway rides.” Tickets are just $5 for this event.
St. Pete Oktoberfest is hosted by the offbeat Grand Central District, located just west of downtown St. Pete. Join 10,000 beer enthusiasts for St. Pete's largest annual craft beer festival. The event will be held Friday, October 19 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, October 20 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
WOBtoberfest in Westchase is World of Beer’s answer to Oktoberfest in the Tampa Bay area. The sixth annual WOBtoberfest will be held Friday, October 19, through Sundaym October, 21, 2012. This three day event will feature beer, live music and fun in the field under giant tents in the field next to World of Beer in Westchase.
Tampa Pitcher Show is offering an artistic spin on Oktoberfest with its Artoberfest. Guests are invited to discover local artists and shop their work while enjoying drinks, music and raffles. Admission is free, there will be an open mic session and free movie tickets will be given for every art purchase. Artoberfest will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 10:30 p.m. to Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 1:30 a.m.
