St. Petersburg College Honors Its Tradition of Success:
For Tampa Bay area students, St. Petersburg College represents an inexpensive alternative for those seeking higher education. Accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award both associate and bachelor degrees, SPC consistently earns recognition for its exceptional programs. For instance, the college:
- Ranks in the top 10 in the United States for associate's degrees awarded;
- Has twice received the national Community College Program Achievement Award from the Association of College and Research Libraries for its library system;
- Ranks in the top 10 in the United States for the number of associate's degrees awarded annually in nursing.
When it comes to freshman and sophomore curriculum, there's no difference between the courses offered at SPC and those offered at public state universities. Students will find significant savings in tuition; and, for those already living in the Tampa Bay area, there's also savings in moving expenses and room and board.
Degrees Offered
- Associate in Arts: A.A. degrees from SPC transfer to practically any accredited university in the world. In addition, an A.A. degree from SPC, by law, guarantees students admission as a junior to one of Florida's 10 public universities.
