1. AstroSkate- Pinellas Park

Details: Admission fees vary by day and event. Rentals for skates are as follows: standard quad skates: $1.50, speed skates: $3.00 and inline skates: $3.00. The skating rink also hosts Astro Camp which is a pay as you go day camp for just $15 a day. The Astro Camp is available during the summer as well as during Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring Breaks. Birthday party packages begin at $9.99 per child. The rink can also host adult birthday parties. Teen's can enjoy glow parties complete with glow cups, bracelets and necklaces as well as a chance to DJ their own beats in the DJ booth.

2. Dinosaur World

Details: Dinosaur World is an outdoor museum that features life sized models of dinosaurs for families and classes to learn, have fun and get a quiet encounter with the lifelike animals. The dinosaur models are up to eighty feet in length and based on the latest scientific discoveries. The creatures are made of fiberglass, steel, and concrete. The dinosaurs are arranged in groups of as many as eleven of a single species, in a variety of settings. Admission is $12.75 for adults, $9.75 for children ages 3 to 12 and $10.75 for seniors over 60. Prices do not include sales tax. Friendly pets on leashes are welcome here. There is no food service at Dinosaur World, FL, however, there are picnic areas and guests are encouraged to bring their own lunches.

Details: Airheads is an indoor trampoline arena. Pricing is $12 to jump for one hour, $10 for each additional hour or $50 for a five hour jump pass. Jumping shoes and helmets are included in the pricing. Guests are asked to bring high tube socks. On your first jump you will have to sign a waiver that is valid for one year. The large arena is filled with several trampolines that are make up the floor and walls so you can literally bounce off the walls with your kids. A special brand of dodgeball goes down every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for people ages 13 and up for just $12. Imagine playing dodgeball on huge trampolines! Birthday parties and fitness classes are available as well.

4. Lego Land

Details: LEGOLAND® Florida is a 150-acre, full-day family theme park designed specifically for families with children ages 2 to 12. The largest LEGOLAND Park in the world, it features more than 50 family rides, shows and interactive attractions, restaurants, shopping and beautiful botanical gardens. Miniland USA in the park features incredibly detailed cities built out of millions of LEGO bricks alone. Admission is $75 for adults 13 and up and $65 for children. LEGOLAND Florida is located in Winter Haven, Florida, 45 minutes southwest of Orlando and 45 minutes from downtown Tampa.

5. Florida Aquarium

Details: Open every day except for Thanksgiving and Christmas from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Florida Aquarium is the spot to be at to see penguins, fish, sharks and more. Admission is $21.95 fir guests 13 to 59, $18.95 for seniors 60 and up and $16.95 for children under 12. Buy online and save up to $2 per ticket.
