The Undy 5000 is a family-friendly 5K run/walk that was created by the Colon Cancer Alliance. It is unique because participants are encouraged to run in their boxers to bring attention to the area affected by colon cancer. We have found that by getting people talking about this disease, we can save lives!
Location: Al Lopez Park, 4810 N. Himes Ave., Tampa, FL 33614. Race packet pick up and on-site registration begins at 7:30 a.m. 5K Starting Time: 9 a.m. 1 Mile fun run begins at 9:10 a.m.
Registration Fees: 5K Adult (14 and older) - $30 Advance/ $40 Race Day; 5K Youth (6-13) - $25 Advance / $35 Race Day; 1 Mile fun run (all ages, Children 5 and younger are free) - $20 Advance / $30 Race Day
"Just like your field day in grade school, with classic events like relay race and obstacle course. You will get points in each event to add up to your total for the day. Will you have what it takes to be tops? Set up camp, have a beer, and have a blast! Brought to you by Tampa Bay Club Sport & Creative Loafing, with all beer sales benefiting Special Olympics.
Participating teams get points in each event (games like "Flip Cup Relay," "Between the Knees Ball Pass" and "Rubber Ducky Fling." Points are added up at the end of the day. Winning teams are feared, respected, and are forever known as Field Day Champions! So, set up camp, have a beer*, and have a blast!

"The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Tour heads south again this winter for the second Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Pete Half Marathon on February 10. Offering sunshine, stunning waterfront vistas and a flat course, this event will rock runners from start to finish.
