The Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF), March 19-24, has announced its list of scheduled films for the annual event celebrating talented films and filmmakers.

"We are calling this our ‘lucky seven’ year and we’re excited about all of the films, education panels and talent who will be at the Festival this year,” says Monica Varner, executive director for GIFF. "I've been with GIFF since the very first festival and to watch this event grow over the years has been amazing. We're thrilled to be celebrating seven years!"

After several months of planning, attending film festivals and conducting screenings, GIFF will bring a stimulating six days of art and culture to the Tampa Bay beginning with the exciting, red carpet opening night festivities sponsored by Merrill Lynch.
