Nowadays, companies seem to care more about their bottom line than the people who work for the company. It's sad, but true. Therefore, when I learned about a company that is going to bat for an employee, I felt the need to spread the word. Cassie Andonian is an employee at Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill in St. Petersburg. On Wednesday, January, 9, 2013, Cassie was in a serious motorcycle accident. She is a single mom with no insurance and her fellow employees have banded together to raise money for her recovery.
She is presently still in critical condition and has not yet regained consciousnesses per the owner's facebook page. This Friday, January, 18, 2013, at 7 p.m. Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill will host a benefit concert to raise money for Cassie Andonian's medical bills.
